Someday you’ll look back on this blog (I hope) and notice that there is no 5 month update for you. Sorry baby girl, but you turned 5 months old at the start of December – the busiest month of the year. So there was virtually no time to blog – so we are going to jump right in to your 6 month update.
Eating: You have fallen in love with solid foods. Thus far you’ve tried (and devoured): apples, bananas, green bean, peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, rice cereal and oatmeal. You are also downing 25 to 35 ounces of breastmilk a day.
New this month: You are starting to attempt to army crawl and are doing baby yoga poses (i.e. pushing your tush in the air while your hands and feet remain on the floor). You roll, twist, and turn everywhere – even managing to get your bottom-half hung under the chair in the living room.
We are halfway thru the first year Emaleigh, and we are blown away by how quickly you are growing and how much you complete our family. We love you!
